We are proud to debut the lyric video for Matt Jordan’s “Smoke.” First of all, I love a good song about a hazel eyed girl. “Smoke” is a country-rock jam that makes it hard to sit still. Described as having a “hint of Springsteen’s restlessness and Petty’s recklessness, “Smoke” was produced by Grammy nominated Sal Oliveri (P!nk, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow). “Smoke” also happened to have won the American Songwriter lyric contest. The track seamlessly blends his influences of Pop/Rock greats, like The Eagles and Bruce Springsteen, with his love of modern Country artists, like Eric Church. Jordan chases down the elusive woman whom he’s crazy about, who “loves and leaves,” and “then she blows away like smoke.”
