Dan Tyminski, member of the bluegrass band Alison Krauss + Union Station, has taken his wide range of experience and knowledge of music and created a masterpiece of a solo project, Southern Gothic.
The haunting lyrics and mysterious melodies in songs such as the title track “Southern Gothic” and “Devil Is Downtown”, and the the upbeat message of “Good For Your Soul”, proves that this record is diverse, taking you on a complete musical journey and keeping you invested every minute.
Tyminkski’s career and writing process over the years has led him to this style, and it is clear that he is anxious to unleash his new work. He will be hitting the stage at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City as part of his solo tour to do just that on Thursday, January 18.
