Trace Adkins was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame during his tour stop at Dixie Landin’ in Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, June 21st.
Adkins, a Louisiana native, was joined on stage by Mike Shepherd, the President and Executive Director of The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, who presented Adkins with the award and an official statement signed by Louisiana Governor, Bobby Jindal.
The rugged entertainer has always honored his hometown, even naming his band the Sarepta Gentleman’s Club after his hometown of Sarpeta, LA. Adkins is also looking forward to returning to his hometown next week to play a special show at the Muddy Bottoms ATV & Recreation Park on Saturday, July 5th.
