Tonight’s sold-out Luke Bryan show at the Rupp Arena, in Lexington, KY, has been postponed until February 21.
The postponement comes after part of Bryan’s stage was damaged early Friday morning while it was being dismantled, after his Columbus, Ohio, show on Thursday.
A Columbus television station’s website, Nbc4i.com, reported that firefighters and rescue crews were called to the Schottenstein Center in Columbus when a forklift crashed into a portion of the stage during the take down process, four workers tearing down the stage, including guys from Luke’s crew as well as the arena staff were injured when a part of the stage fell over. The injuries were apparently not serious.
The damage occurred after the Columbus show had ended and no fans were in the building, the news release from Rupp Arena said, adding that the tour’s team would make repairs so the tour may continue.
Reps for the Rupp Arena announced that previously purchased tickets for the concert will be honored for the new date.
