Chances are you’ve heard of Caitlyn Smith and just didn’t realize it. The country artist has been a welcome addition to the music scene with her powerhouse vocals and fresh songwriting. Caitlyn’s repertoire includes a long list of songs she has penned for her peers, which include multi-platinum artist Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts and Lady Antebellum. In the past year alone, Caitlyn has toured alongside iconic artists like Sheryl Crow and Willie Nelson. She co-wrote every song on her new project, Everything to You (available now) including the popular hit, “Wasting All These Tears,” (single of Cassadee Pope).
“With a voice that channels the haunting, ethereal tone of Emmylou Harris as much as the ceiling-free range of Carrie Underwood, it’s hard to believe Caitlyn Smith has spent more of her Nashville days behind-the-scenes” (Rolling Stone Country). Now, Smith is stepping into the spotlight with her highly autobiographical release, Everything To You, a seven-track project full of “intoxicating” ballads and “feel-good” anthems. The EP is available at digital retailers and is one of the featured “New & Noteworthy” artist spotlights on iTunes®.
From the first “vibrant, energetic” track, “Fever” (Nashville Lifestyles), to Smith “igniting a flame” with “Novocaine” (Blast Out Your Stereo), all the way to the “showstopper” final track, “All My Lovers,” it’s a rare feat to have every song on a project be just as attention-grabbing at the next – but Everything To You does just that.
Continuing the momentum of release week for Everything To You, Smith will perform at the famed venue, Station Inn, in Nashville this Thursday, Oct. 30 for a special EP release show.
