SINGLE REVIEW: Kendal Conrad “Country Queen”

Banjos, fiddles, guitars and twang all make for one great country song, and Kendal Conrad brings us all of the above in her single “Country Queen”. Lyrics with a cowgirl punch, and a confident voice, Conrad shows us just what it means to be a “Country Queen”.

“I wanna ride my horse down the interstate,

 And go honkey tonkin’ all night, every day, 

I wanna play guitar on a flatbed truck 

And go tailgatin’ with my friends livin’ it up. 

Conrad has a mature, yet fun sound, making her music diverse for artists and fans of all ages to enjoy. After having the chance to listen to her live, it is clear she puts all she has into her music, and is ready to take the country world by storm.  There is no doubt she was, “Born to be, a country queen”.

There was no specific event that made me fall in love with country music, it was simply the style that hit me the hardest. I’ve been involved with music from a young age and it has helped get to where I am today. I graduated Albright College with a degree in Music Business and currently work in New York City with Music Licensing. I consider myself lucky when I look back at the various concerts I’ve attended, from classics such as Brooks & Dunn and George Strait, to the incredible new talents of Eric Church and The Band Perry.
