You may previously remember the name Joshua Scott Jones who made up one half of the country duo Steel Magnolia alongside Meghan Linsey.
This time Joshua Scott Jones is back, and with the debut solo single, “Honk (If You’re Tonky).” This single is off of his forthcoming full-length debut album, THE HEALING. This single really proves that Joshua has what it takes to stand amongst the crowd and shine throughout the next chapter of his career. Just as the title of the album suggests, his music will revolve around the ups and downs that he has had over the years, and I think what it will really prove is that music can really bring you to a place of reflection, to a place for “THE HEALING.” I think this album is definitely going to be deep, powerful, and emotional just as the name suggests. If that’s not enough to prove this new album will be worth checking out, the single “Honk (If You’re Tonky),” really packs punch with a strong, powerful, catchy, and brilliant lyrics. Joshua couldn’t have said it better when he said this one was like an, “anthem for men.” Definitely true throughout the lyrics, check it out and see for yourself 😉
