I kept hearing people talk about a guy named Brinley Addington. Brinley comes from Kingsport, Tennessee and his career has taken direction from none other than Chris Young himself. Since then, Brinley has fit the bill to land spots to share the stage with Florida-Georgia Line, Justin Moore, The Band Perry, Eli Young Band, Josh Turner, and more. If that’s not enough has already played on numerous well-known stages across the country.
With a first listen of his new single “Middle of Nowhere,” what ran through my mind was…. Oh my goodness, how have I not heard this guy’s music before? I am so glad I had a chance to check it out because this song will be stuck in my head for days!
“Middle of Nowhere,” it starts off with a great beat and Brinley has an extremely distinctive country voice, one that separates him from some of the artists we are hearing on country radio today. I am absolutely loving the vocals, the beat, and the lyrics of this song. It’s that feel good country song, from one listen you will be addicted to. I cannot wait to hear more from this guy, in my opinion, he’s already going far.
Having been produced by Phil O’Donnell and up-and-coming producer Aaron Eshuis, “Middle Of Nowhere“, Brinley Addington’s sophomore project is a sure-fire hit that will continue to bring him much success in the future. I know it’s going to become one of my new jams, that’s for sure.
There’s a place ain’t a place at all
you can’t find it on a map don’t know what it’s called
And on a clear night you can see stars for days
and watch the sun come up from a dropped tailgate
Take a ride to the hilltop ain’t nothin’ but a whole lot of fireflies flyin’ like golden diamonds
Man in the moon got the whole world shinin’
Hey pretty girl I wanna take you there
Way on out to the middle of nowhere
Put a couple miles between the rest of the world and you and me
Yeah breathe a little country air
Way on out there in the middle of nowhere
