Breakout Country artist Raleigh Keegan’s first full-length album, Clocks Roll Forward, was released on Friday, October 15th! Produced by Grammy-award winning Ryan Gore (Jon Pardi, Old Dominion), Clocks Roll Forward is a 13-song collection which features songs all co-written by Raleigh with some of Nashville’s biggest songwriters. Honesty is front and center in Raleigh’s songwriting, pulling from his unconventional start in life – Raleigh’s birth mother was incarcerated on drug related charges at the time she gave birth to him. He was adopted by a loving family at just a few days old. He expresses gratitude for the brave decision his birth mother made to have him adopted to provide him a better life. Raleigh was finally able to connect with his birth mother as a teenager, though sadly she passed away from cancer 2 years after they met.
As an independent artist, Raleigh has always been driven. He sold his house in order to pay for his first EP and has pounded the pavement, booking over 150 shows per year on his own in the first 3 years of his career, including an opening slot for Keith Urban. He has grown his loyal social media fan base to nearly 150k followers and has more than 200k monthly listeners across platforms.
Clocks Roll Forward includes “Drink For That,” which “pits the soulful vocals of Cincinnati native Keegan against a backdrop of brooding alt-rock guitar work” (Rolling Stone Country) as well as “Trainwreck,” “Jealous Of The Sun,”“Easy on the Trigger,” “Handyman,” “Long Line of Lovers,” “Another Good Day,” and ”Way Back.”
Among the new tracks and topics on the upcoming LP are the powerful “Our First Goodbye,” written about his birth mother; the push/pull of a toxic relationship in “I Love You”; the raw and personal “Like My Daddy Was” about his biological father; and the driving “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know.”
Raleigh has accumulated nearly 10 million streams across his catalog to date, and has opened for artists such as Eric Church, Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Drake White, and Mitchell Tenpenny. Raleigh has been featured in publications such as People,Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, Billboard, Music Row, Sounds Like Nashville, Taste of Country, Holler and more.
