Chase Rice has been chosen as NRA Country’s Featured Artist for August. The announcement comes during a busy time, as he preps to launch his highly-anticipated new studio album, Ignite The Night, set to release August 19 and available for pre-order HERE. Rice is also poised to make his late-night national TV debut on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday, August 6.
As part of the NRA Country promotion, fans can check out an exclusive behind-the-scenes video clip of the “Ready Set Roll” singer in a high-octane, off-road adventure at NRACountry.com. While there, fans can register to win the ultimate “Americaning Prize Package” including: an autographed Ignite The Night CD, T-Shirt, beach towel, sunglasses, trucker hat, water bottle, and koozies.
As an NRA Country Featured Artist, Chase joins some of country music’s biggest artists including Florida Georgia Line, Lee Brice, Love and Theft, Easton Corbin, Eric Paslay, Craig Morgan and many more, in teaming up to celebrate his support of our brave men and women in uniform, appreciation for the great outdoors, and love of family.
“I grew up on a 15-acre horse farm in Florida, and later North Carolina. Instead of playing video games, I grew up hunting, riding four-wheelers, and getting outside and getting dirty. We went to church on Sundays and learned about Jesus, and then my dad would drink a beer that same afternoon while my mom cooked for me and my brothers. I don’t really know what people call ‘country’ anymore, but that was, and is, my version of country and I love it,” said Rice.
Within a few short years of moving to Nashville, Rice has already built a loyal fan base across the country through his energetic live shows and gained the attention of industry professionals with his edgy, eclectic sound. Rice first made waves as a co-writer on Florida George Line’s massive 2012 crossover hit “Cruise,” and his star continues to rise with his own RIAA Gold-certified, Top 20-and-climbing single, “Ready Set Roll.” Rice’s new full-length album, Ignite the Night, is slated for release August 19 on Columbia Nashville/Dack Janiels Records.
