We’re excited to bring you an exclusive first listen to an artist that I think we’ll all be talking about a lot more.
It may be a surprise to learn that Ohio born and raised budding talent Nick Walker is creating quite a path for himself in Key West. Having set out to play music there full time, he’s built a loyal following thanks to his smooth vocals and catchy, hook driven melodies that infuse a bit of the island sounds into Country. His newest release, Just Add Water, produced by Grady Saxman and is a feel-good, summer bound anthem that has the potential to land him on the map in Nashville. It is just the first in a series of new music expected to be released throughout the year. Walker hopes to continue to live by his motto: “There’s no sense in fighting the tides when I could just roll with them.”
His upcoming EP, It’s All South From Here,’ was inspired by a breakup that found Walker headed South to Key West to find musical inspiration.
