Lee Brice pays tribute to First Responders in his new music video for “One Of Them Girls.” “I just love that the title could easily come across with a negative connotation at first,” shares Brice. “But, it’s so very much about that girl that all of us – deep down, at the end of the day, at the end of our lives – really hope to have loving us.” The powerful new video follows a strong hardworking single mother as she balances her life as a firefighter, taking care of her daughter, and even running the pool table at her local bar.
As the proud daughter of a firefighter, I may understand the sacrifice, but I will never truly be able to relate to, or understand, the ins and outs of such an emotionally & physically demanding career. This video, directed by Spidey Smith, is great for us to see at any time, but now especially. As our first responders & healthcare heroes are on the front lines of COVID-19, may we pray for them, and thank them for their continuous sacrifice.
