Lee Ann Womack Performs at Sonos Studio In Celebration of 2015 Grammys

Last Friday, Sonos and ASCAP welcomed Grammy award-winning country artist Lee Ann Womack to Sonos Studio, an acoustically designed space in the heart of Los Angeles, as a part of a week of events in celebration of the 2015 Grammys. Lee Ann, 2015 Grammy nominee for best country music album, gave an intimate performance for fans and held a unique discussion on the art of songwriting.

Lee Ann performed tracks off her latest album, “The Way I’m Livin’,” sharing her writing process and the stories behind some of her award-winning songs. During the discussion, Lee Ann commented that many of her new songs are about the Devil, honky-tonk and the Church, stemming from her upbringing in Texas where you could…

“feel the pull between Saturday night and Sunday morning.”
