Krystal Keith ended her North American tour Saturday (Sept. 27) at the Susquehanna Bank Center outside Philadelphia. Besides winning over thousands with each live performance, Keith continues to garner national media attention.
Krystal’s opening slot on the Shut Up And Hold On Tour Presented by Ford F-Series has her warming the crowd for her father, superstar entertainer Toby Keith, and Colt Ford. But lineage and name recognition can’t help her when the lights come up and the mic goes live. Thankfully, it doesn’t take long for fans to realize she’s more than an ordinary opener. Her powerful vocals and insightful songwriting quickly shine through.
And concertgoers aren’t the only ones noticing. National media continue to spotlight one of country’s brightest emerging talents. Krystal is the recent subject of an “Eight Fun Facts” feature in USA Today (read it here.) An avid cook, Keith also has her recipes regularly featured on GACtv.com‘s “In The Kitchen” blog. Her most recent, Grilled Balsamic Chicken, can be seen here. A fall favorite from Krystal’s own food blog The Barnyard Bistro, pumpkin bread cupcakes, can be accessed here.
Krystal’s debut album Whiskey & Lace has received widespread acclaim, and she’s had a number of high profile performances. Most recently, she made her Grand Ole Opry debut, and she’s also been featured on numerous national television programs including The Late Show with Craig Ferguson. “Daddy Dance With Me” has become a wedding sensation and viral video smash.
