Kings of Leon Add Additional Shows To Their Mechanical Bull Tour

Just like the said they would the band Kings of Leon has decided to add 12 more shows to their 2014 Mechanical Bull Tour with Kings of Leon tickets now available for those shows in North America. In October the Nashville quartet announced they would be touring for the release of their sixth album, Mechanical Bull, from February through March. Opening night of the tour would take place at Philips Arena in Atlanta on February 5th (get-in price $55/average price $174) and originally scheduled to end in Chicago on March 8th ($58/$175).

 

However after the Kings of Leon announced they would be adding a second leg to their Mechanical Bull Tour they will now be touring until April. The band will take a few days off in between the first and second leg of the tour and will resume shows on March 19th in Phoenix ($74/$302) before traveling to Seattle’s KeyArena on March 28 ($69/$176), Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome on April 1 ($62/$185) and Tulsa’s Bank of Oklahoma Center on April 8 ($73/$151) just to name a few before finishing at the New Orleans Arena on April 11 ($101/$279).

 

While Kings of Leon’s Mechanical Bull Tour averages $160 for a ticket there are hundreds still available, many of which are below tours average; the lowest being the March 5th show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City where some are going for as low as just $33 (average price $138). The tours cheapest show average is the March 27th concert in Portland going for $127 with get-in price of $90.

 

Opening up for the Kings of Leon for the first leg of the Mechanical Bull Tour  is blues-rocker Gary Clark Jr. while the indie-folk quintet Local Natives playing the undercard. Kings of Leon fans attending this tour can expect to hear their favorite songs by the band along with new song from their current LP Mechanical Bull.
