Jake Owen warmed up well over 15K fans by bringing the beach, palm trees and sunshine to back-to-back sold-out shows on his nationwide DAYS OF GOLD headline tour this weekend in Mankato, MN (10/17) and Lincoln, NE (10/18). With these touring milestones, Jake is solidifying his place as one of Country music’s leading entertainers.
The Omaha World-Herald noted Jake’s impressive and engaging performance, “Armed with a strong voice, well-crafted country-rock songs and a truckload of charisma (just look at his smile that gleams for a million miles), Owen roped in his whole audience.”
To cap off his 75-plus city headline dates presented by Discover Boating, the last tour stop will be Jake’s annual charity concert this Saturday (10/25) in Vero Beach, FL. All of the proceeds benefit the Jake Owen Foundation, which supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and youth organizations in Indian River County, FL, including Autism Speaks, Hibiscus Children’s Center, the Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation and Boys & Girls Club of Indian River County. Last year’s concert raised a record-breaking $125,000.
Touring in support of his latest album DAYS OF GOLD which features emotional new single “What We Ain’t Got,” the RCA Nashville project is the follow up to the GOLD-certified BAREFOOT BLUE JEAN NIGHT, which has sold well over 5 million tracks.
Previously taking home ACA and ACM Awards, Jake has ascended to stardom with five #1 smashes – GOLD-certified hits “The One That Got Away,” “Anywhere with You,” PLATINUM-certified “Alone with You,” “Beachin’” and 2X PLATINUM “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”
