About The Author
Growing up in the Travis Tritt, George Strait, Garth Brooks era, it was hard not fall in love with country music from a young age. Most of my childhood days were spent on the water, fishing, boating and camping. For me, country music paints a true picture of how my life really is when it comes to growing up in a small town, love, loss, breakups, and family. I grew up attending a catholic grade school and an all-girl catholic high school so my faith and love of God has always been very important to me and my family. “Live. Laugh. Love” was the motto my father instilled in our family. In 2012, I achieved one of my biggest dreams. I was crowned Miss Kentucky USA 2012! . Sadly, my dad passed away the following week but I knew then that each day I would work as hard as I could to accomplish all of my dreams. In December 2013 I moved to Nashville, TN. I since then have joined ASCAP as a licensing manager, working to ensure songwriters get paid their royalties, which furthered deepened my love of country music.
