One of Nashville’s most premiere management companies, Iconic Entertainment Group (IEG), has announced the signing of breakout artist Kelsea Ballerini to its ever growing roster.
Kelsea, who is currently climbing the charts with her debut single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” on Black River Entertainment, inked her new management deal while she was working in the elite Sound Stage studio, putting the finishing touches on her highly anticipated debut album slated for release this spring.
Kelsea took country music by storm late last year, becoming the No. 1 most added debut single by a female artist over the entire year span with “Love Me Like You Mean It.” She has landed on numerous “ones to watch in 2015” lists, including Billboard, Spotify Country Spotlight, Huffington Post and CMT Women of Country, among others.
“I was first drawn to Kelsea professionally by her amazing songwriting and personally by her spirit,” says IEG’s President/CEO Fletcher Foster. “Once I saw her on stage and how she interacted with the audience and her fans, I knew we wanted to be a part of her life and career. She’s a very special person and talent.”
Destined to be a star, Kelsea has already been winning over fans and peers alike with her charm, charismatic personality and dynamic vocals heard when belting out a tune. At the ripe age of 21, Kelsea shows traits seen in seasoned entertainers, such as her unique ability to craft a song and to convey the emotion in a record and live setting. In addition to co-writing her debut single, Kelsea had a hand in writing all four remaining tracks on her digital EP released in November 2014.
This week, “Love Me Like You Mean It” continues its rise up the charts where it is currently No. 32 on Mediabase and No. 36 on Billboard.
