Morgan Lee Powers is a new singer/songwriter on the scene whose sound ebbs and flows somewhere between Folk, Americana and Country.
On her latest release “Dear Whoever You Are,” the emerging artist showcases her ability to pen a catchy tune completely solo. The mid-tempo song finds Powers manifesting her future partner, and hoping he is out there “waiting on her too.” It is reminiscent of early Taylor Swift with a touch of Kacey Musgraves’ western style. With hit producer Sean Neff at the helm, “Dear Whoever You Are” is one of several tracks Powers is slated to release over the coming months.
