Gigi’s Cupcakes has been a long time supporter of country music. They hosted live events during CMA Fest and partner with the industry in any way possible. Now they have stepped up in a big way.
Gigi Butler, founder of Gigi’s Cupcakes, recently attended ACM Honors in Nashville, TN to present ACM Lifting Lives with a generous $10,000 donation. ACM Lifting Lives’ Hannah Martin and Wes Perry accepted the gift on behalf of the charity which works to improve lives through the power of music. With the help of supporters such as Gigi’s Cupcakes, the Academy gives back by funding worthy organizations that advance healing through music therapy and education.
“The team at Gigi’s cupcakes has such big hearts and we are so thrilled to have their support in advancing the mission of ACM Lifting Lives to improve lives through the power of music,” said Hannah Martin.
Gigi’s Cupcakes opened their doors in 2008 just off Music Row in Nashville and now has 98 store locations across the country and is considered the largest cupcake franchise in the country.
“Music education is very special to me,” said Gigi Butler, Founder and Chief Brand Officer of Gigi’s Cupcakes. “I’ve been singing since I was a young child and moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. I ultimately made a career out of baking incredible desserts instead, but I will always have a love of music. I think music enriches the lives of our children in so many ways.”

About ACM Lifting Lives
ACM Lifting Lives® is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. Each year, ACM Lifting Lives provides funding to music-related therapy and education programs, including the organization’s flagship ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp, a partnership since 2010 with Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in Nashville, TN. ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp is a week-long residential program open to individuals with Williams syndrome, talented in music from around the nation, and has a dual purpose of studying Williams syndrome while providing music enrichment through performance and education.
