Well we have been patiently waiting to hear the news that Garth Brooks announced earlier this year on ABC’s Good Morning America.
“We’re going on a world tour in 2014, It sure feels good to get to throw your hat back in the ring…. All my babies are fine with it. Ms. Yearwood is fine with it. So now I get to do what I love to do, which is play music. I get to be with the person I want to be with, which is Ms. Yearwood.”
So now that 2014 is more than half way over, could the big announcement of tour dates come on Monday?
Brooks parked his tour bus in 2001, making the honorable commitment to trade his day job for being a full-time Dad. He vowed to stay home in Oklahoma with his three daughters and wife Trisha Yearwood until his youngest graduated from high school, which happened this past May. But before making a U.S. trek official, the singer set a five-night run in Ireland, July 25-29 at Dublin’s Croke Park. Still, the promise of a stateside road trip has been made, and we even know who his tourmate will be: his better half. The only question is when.
Earlier today, Garth’s website posted a cryptic message saying:
“The wait is over….7/7”
So I guess we will have to wait till Monday to find out.
