Nashville, Tenn. (October 4, 2019) – Busy At Play Publishing singer-songwriter Sarah Ryder shows hercountry grit, sass, and femininity on full display with the release of new single and music video “Another Fool”.
“This song presents the classic grass is always greener on the other side perspective,” said Ryder. “But when you get a better look at the other side, it turns out they’ve got more weeds than you thought and you’re better off where you’re at. We all have weeds.”
“Another Fool” was co-written by Ryder alongside legendary songwriter Marc Copely (Carole King, Willie Nelson) andpublisher/producer/guitarist Johnny Garcia, who has been band director for country music icon Trisha Yearwood since 1991. The songs hookactually came from an anecdote overheard from an interview with Loretta Lynn years ago. “Why would I leave my fool for another fool I don’t even know…,” were words Garcia kept in mind all this time until he found the right fit with Ryder.
“The playfulness of ‘Another Fool’ was a perfect match for Sarah, being the prolific songwriter that she is, and her character,” said Garcia.
Brave Enough Productions captured the flirty music video in East Nashville with Crowd Surf co-founder Jade Driver as director.
The compelling Ryder also appears with Garcia on the latest episode of music industry podcast How I Got Backstage to chat about their career paths and the pinch-me moments they find themselves in being fortunate enough to continuously collaborate with an incredible caliber of players and industry professionals—listen here.
