Yesterday, Eli Young Band confirmed the second Annual House Party line up. The band will return once again to Dallas and is expanding the Party with a second show in Houston. Tickets went on sale today, Friday August 29th for both the November 8th date at Globe Life Park in Arlington and the November 15th date at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Last year’s inaugural House Party in Arlington, was a huge success with over 18,000 fans in attendance. The band looks forward to an even larger turn out this year with eight touring powerhouses joining them for two shows.
The November 8th House Party in Arlington will feature country superstar Gary Allan who’s been named “country’s mainstream Maverick” by Rolling Stone. Allan has sold over 7 million albums, released back-to-back-to-back platinum albums, racked up 5 #1 hits and a cool dozen Top Ten hits at country radio. Two-time Grammy nominee and country hit-maker Pat Green has sold over a million albums and has been dubbed “the Springsteen of the Southwest” in People Magazine and USA Today. Green is a hometown hero who’s electrifying performances draw fans in all over the nation helping him to sell out venues from Nokia Theater in NYC to House of Blues in LA. Many Texas Music fans met Cody Johnson’s honest style through hit singles on the Texas chart including: “Nobody to Blame,” “Texas Kind of Way” and his #1 smash “Pray for Rain.” His reputation for rowdy shows and honest lyrics have made him a statewide favorite, taking the dance-halls by storm. Kicking off the night of music will be Texas and Oklahoma female duo Maddie & Tae, the up-and-coming country sensations whose Dot Records‘ debut single “Girl In a Country Song” has exploded nationwide with nearly 6 million views on YouTube alone since release late last month.
The November 15th House Party at Minute Maid Park in Houston will feature Atlantic Records Josh Abbott Band, who has topped the Texas chart with six #1 hits and a trio of Top Tens. Josh has become a touring powerhouse selling out 7,000 tickets at Lonestar Amphitheatre and back-to-back nights at Billy Bobs. Valory Music Co.‘s Thomas Rhett, has scored back-to-back #1 hits with the Platinum-certified “It Goes Like This” and Gold-certified “Get Me Some of That” in addition to co-writing the smash chart-topper “Round Here.” Opening the show will be Cody Johnson. His reputation for rowdy shows and honest lyrics have made him a statewide favorite, taking the dance-halls by storm.
