Broken Bow Records artist Dustin Lynch occupies a unique place in today’s country music. Thanks to his classic sensibilities, he’s been heralded as the heir to George Strait’s throne. Yet with one listen to his newest hit, “Where It’s At,” it’s obvious the young Tennessee native knows how to combine his traditional influences with an edgy intensity that places him at the vanguard of today’s contemporary country scene.
Since the release of his hit, “Cowboys and Angels,” Lynch has sold over one million copies of his debut single and has surpassed 13 million views on YouTube/ VEVO. Lynch’s Facebook fan page has grown by nearly ONE MILLION in the last year and his Twitter by 184%. He’s soared to #1 on the MTV Music Meter, earned a #1 ringtone on CMT, a Top 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Songs Chart, a #2 Country radio single, two American Country Award nominations and a CMT Music Award nomination. “Cowboys and Angels” was one of Billboard’s Top 5 Country Songs of 2012. The editors of Rolling Stone lauded Lynch as one of “Nashville’s New Hit Makers” in 2013 Best of Rock Issue. ELLE magazine named him a “Best New Country Music Artist of 2013” while People Country proclaimed Lynch one of its “2014 Sexiest Men of Country” in a two-page center spread as well as a “2013 Hot Guys” in its annual issue. The only new male artist to earn a #1 debut album on the 2012 Country charts, Lynch further cemented his next-big-thing status with the double-entendre laden barnstormer “She Cranks My Tractor” and light-hearted “Wild In Your Smile.”
Lynch’s new single “Where It’s At” rests safely inside the Top 20 this week at Country Radio and continues to rise. The lead single from Lynch’s upcoming sophomore album on Broken Bow Records – slated for a Fall 2014 release – is available now HERE via Amazon and iTunes.
