Fresh off of playing Luke Bryan’s “Crash My Playa” festival in Mexico, Broken Bow Records’ Dustin Lynch ignited the stage this weekend with consecutive sold-out shows at the popular Joe’s Bar in Chicago, IL, (1/30) and The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee, WI (1/31). Known for his distinguishable voice, the Platinum-selling singer lit up the crowd with his fast-paced set, including hot new Top 40-and-climbing single “Hell Of A Night” and GOLD-certified, multi-week #1 smash “Where It’s At.”
Previously opening for Keith Urban and crisscrossing the country with over 137 headline dates last year, Lynch recently announced that he will join Luke Bryan’s 2015 THAT’S MY KIND OF NIGHT TOUR and highly-anticipated KICK THE DUST UP TOUR launching in May and featuring major stadium dates nationwide, including a stop at Vanderbilt Stadium on July 11th, a homecoming for the Tennessee native. Lynch will continue to play headline shows and festivals throughout the year.
“Being on the KICK THE DUST UP TOUR is an absolute dream come true! Luke is on top of the world and I look forward to learning from him, his band and crew,” shares Lynch. “And, on top of that, I get to play my music for a lot of new faces … bring on the party!”
Since releasing his PLATINUM debut single, “Cowboys and Angels,” the talented performer has launched on to the country music scene. Racking up over 20.5 million views on YouTube/VEVO, soaring to #1 on the MTV Music Meter and selling 2.4 million digital singles, he brings a fresh combination of traditional influences and edgy intensity to the genre. Producers Mickey Jack Cones, Brett Beavers and Luke Wooten showcase his progressive sound throughout his sophomore album, WHERE IT’S AT (Broken Bow Records), which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart upon release and has tallied over 750,000 tracks sold to date. Fueled by the multi-week #1, GOLD-certified smash “Where It’s At,” the buzz-worthy title track has earned well over 10.7 million streams on Spotify.
Media critics have taken notice of the rising newcomer as he was praised in ROLLING STONE’s 2013 Best of Rock Issue, named ELLE’s “Best New Country Music Artist of 2013″ and tapped as one of PEOPLE COUNTRY and US WEEKLY’s “2014 Sexiest Men of Country.”
