Dan + Shay’s highly anticipated album debut, Where It All Began, is exclusively streaming on Spotify as of today, including three live acoustic bonus tracks; their hit single “19 You + Me,” album opener “Show You Off” along with “First Time Feeling,” which the pair sang on their Grand Ole Opry debut earlier this year. The ACM Award Nominees have joined Hunter Hayes on his “We’re Not Invisible Tour,” which began last week and runs through May. Dan + Shay will also make a stop in Austin, TX this Saturday, March 29th for the first annual iHeartRadio Country Festival, as the only new artists named to the sold out all-star event. They will continue on the road through the summer when they join The Voice’s favorite coach, superstar Blake Shelton, on his “Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014” kicking off in June.
As the only country artists named to CNN’s “Fresh Faces” and Billboard’s “2014 Artists to Watch,” the pair are celebrating with performances week of release on Good Morning America (April 1st) and The Ellen DeGeneres Show (April 4th). The week culminates with the ACM Awards where Dan + Shay are nominated for “Vocal Duo of the Year.” Dan + Shay recently revealed their latest Warehouse Session, a series of live + acoustic videos recorded in Nashville, TN, to fans, with the album’s opening track “Show You Off.”
Called one of the “acts that will help define 2014” by Billboard, the country duo wrote the entire 12-track album, while it was produced by Smyers and co-produced by Scott Hendricks and Nashville songwriter, Danny Orton. The first single from Where It All Began, “19 You + Me,” has already sold more than 425,000 tracks and is nearing Top 10 on the country radio charts. The nostalgic feel-good song also earned Dan + Shay the title of the most-added duo at country radio in 2013.
