This past February, Cole Swindell released his song “Break Up in the End.” The song tells of how you would still take the chance, make the memories, and get to know the person even if you knew it would end up in a break up.
Even if I knew you’d be the one that got away, I’d still go back and get you. Even if I knew you’d be my best and worst mistake, oh I’d still make it with you. Over and over, again and again, even though, we’d break up in the end.
He recently released the video to go along, and it did not disappoint. It takes this idea of going back and repeating the failed relationship to heart. Picture a music video where you meet, fall in love, move in together, make memories, and build a beautiful relationship; and then put it on rewind. It shows all of those moments, burnt memories, and break ups as if you are recalling them and backing up to where that relationship all started.
This video is creative and uses the play on words to build a beautiful picture of what’s happening. In the short two weeks that the video has been out, it has been watched almost one million times, that’s pretty amazing! Check it out for yourself!
