Chase Bryant is starting the New Year off with a bang. His debut single “Take It On Back” continues to climb the country radio charts while it was announced yesterday that the celebrated newcomer will join superstar Tim McGraw’s Shotgun Rider Tour 2015.
“New Year, New Dreams come true. It’s beyond an honor to be on tour with Tim McGraw. I could never put into words the gratitude of what this means to me. Thank you country radio and country fans for all the love they’ve shown my first single and to Tim for allowing me to be part of this ride with you,” says Bryant.
Known for his vocally charged and guitar-wielding live performances, Bryant has already earned rave reviews from the likes of Rolling Stone Country, Billboard, Teen Vogue, American Songwriter, People Country, Country Weekly, Bustle, Las Vegas Sun, The Fresno Bee, The Sacramento Bee and the San Diego Union Tribune. Additionally, the fast-rising star recently graced the cover of the December 2014 issue of Southwest Texas Magazine.
Bryant demonstrates his unique method of musicianship this weekend when he takes CMT Hot 20 shopping at one of his favorite Nashville guitar shops, 2nd Gear Music. Bryant discusses his attraction to the guitar at age three AND how the left-handed star taught himself to play a right-handed guitar backwards. CMT Hot 20 premieres this Saturday, January 17th at 9 am ET/ 8 am CT.
“Take It On Back” appears on Bryant’s debut EP, which he co-produced alongside Derek George (Randy Houser). Bryant co-wrote each song on the EP, which also includes the emotionally charged fan favorites “Change Your Name,” “Jet Black Pontiac” and “Little Bit of You.”
