Last Thursday (4.11.19) I got to see Cale Dodds open for Chase Rice at the iconic Georgia Theatre. Dodds came out strong, starting with “Acting Our Age,” his anthem for living in the moment & enjoying life to its fullest. The 45 minute set, which included his new single “I Like Where This Is Going,” was full of energy that fans of Dodds have come to expect. Not many compare when it comes to the stage presence of Cale Dodds. That’s just a fact… The crowd was engaged from the minute he stepped on stage. Several ladies around me immediately told me how much they loved him after he was done. Chase Rice added to the Dodds love by bringing him back out to join him during “Cruise.” Rice had a University of Georgia football helmet on stage since the show was in the home of UGA, Athens. As Dodds left to exit the stage, Rice quickly got him back and convinced him to wear the helmet. Dodds of course took it one step further and well, just look at the photos below… You have a few more chances to catch Dodds on this tour, so if you’re able to go, GO! Keep your eyes on his website for new tour dates that will be added. This is one guy you don’t want to sleep on…
