Shot and produced by Hideout Pictures in White House, Tennessee, the video for “Right” highlighting both Sparxxx and Atkins captures the unique chemistry between both artists. The video is scheduled to premiere later this month.
“It was important that Rodney and I collaborated on a song with a strong message we both believe in, which is the case with ‘Right,’” comments Sparxxx. “And just like it relates to the both of us, I think it will relate to each listener in some way. We all have some aspect of our life we want to get ‘right.’
Additionally, Rodney and I stayed true to who we are as people and artists. He’s not rapping and I’m not singing. Not to mention, Rodney is one of the most down to earth, genuine people I’ve ever had the privilege of working with.”
Atkins adds,”Bubba and I first met in 2006 in North Carolina and we started talking about working together then. When he called me with this song, it just made sense. Music, no matter the genre, is a universal language and this song says something worthwhile.”
