Brinley Addington recently released his EP Songs From a Bar. Addington said, “This EP means a lot to me. Not only did we have a blast recording this project, but I really feel like I found a part of myself and my direction as an artist that I’ve been looking to establish for a long time. That’s been huge for me. It’s also been great watching people react and enjoy this flavor of country music. It is the song that really set the tone for the whole EP. I wrote it with Terry McBride and Brice Long, and knew pretty much right away that this was going to be the guide for the rest of the project. It’s the kind of song I’ve always wanted to record and just has that feel that reminds me of all the stuff I grew up on that means so much to me.” Check out the video below for more thoughts straight from Addington himself! You can hear “Another Heartache” below as well. I can promise you, it’s a great traditional country sound!
