Two of the biggest names in the entertainment world are coming to Salem, Va., for one gigantic weekend of country music in 2015. Superstars Brad Paisley and Florida Georgia Line will headline the Blue Ridge Music Festival May 30-31, 2015, as the event expands to two action packed days.
“This is great news for the entire region,” says Carey Harveycutter, Salem’s Director of Tourism. “We can’t wait for the festival to return to Salem Stadium, and we’re already making plans to enhance the fan experience.”
Saturday headliner Brad Paisley and Sunday headliner Florida Georgia Line will be joined by the likes of the legendary Charlie Daniels Band, Jerrod Niemann, Dustin Lynch, Colt Ford, The Swon Brothers, Clare Dunn, Chris Lane and other guests to be announced.
The one-day Blue Ridge Music festival averaged over 11,000 fans each of the past two years at Salem Stadium. The newly-expanded weekend format will give even more fans the opportunity to experience twice as many of their favorite performers in one place.
“We’re excited to come back to Salem bigger and better than ever,” states Mike Smardak, President of Outback Concerts.
