In April, tickets to the 50th ACM Awards and ACM Party for a Cause: 50 Years of Music & Memories both sold out in 18 minutes. The accumulated 60,000 tickets sold for the events marked the biggest and fastest selling sales record in the Academy’s history.
“In April, we sold out faster than ever and now we’re excited to be able to open up the 50th ACM Awards and Party for a Cause Festival. This year’s staging is being designed to be interactive and dynamic, and making that production change opened up space to accommodate as many fans as possible to Country Music’s Party of the Year,” said Tiffany Moon, Executive Vice President and Managing Director for the Academy.
The 50th ACM Awards will be broadcast LIVE for the first time ever from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network. ACM Award winners Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will return to co-host this super-sized night of incredible country music performances, which will cap off three days of events, including ACM Party for a Cause®: 50 Years of Music & Memories on April 17-18, 2015 at Globe Life Park, in Arlington, Texas. This two-day outdoor music event will include multiple stages for ongoing LIVE country music performances, interactive experiences, a family-friendly country marketplace with food trucks and vendors from around the country, and much more. All participating artists will be announced at a later date. In addition, the weekend will end with the All-Star Jam, the Academy’s “official” after-party immediately following the Awards Show in the West Plaza at AT&T Stadium.
