One of the most authentic, humble artists to hit the Nashville scene in the past decade is country singer, Brandon Chase. He’s the kind of guy you love more as you get to know him and his genuine nature bleeds through in his music. He expresses his appreciation for fans by spending quality time with them every chance he gets. Got Country Online had the pleasure of talking with Brandon during CMA Fest.
GCO: Well, first of all, you were featured as “Crush of the Week” in Seventeen Magazine. What?
BC: Laughs and says yeah, that was really cool. I didn’t know there was such a thing. They also featured my video, “One“. I’m super pumped about that.
GCO: We are sitting here in the middle of Music City Center. What do you appreciate most about CMA Fest?
BC: The most exciting thing for me is meeting all the fans, getting personal with them. I get to find out about their life a little bit and thats really fun for me.
GCO: Who has been your biggest inspiration musically?
BC: Keith Urban and John Mayer. I play my music with a little bit of a fusion between both of them. I aim for the soulfulness of John Mayer with the style of keith Urban.
GCO: What career goals are on your current radar?
BC: There are a lot of goals left for me. Im taking it one day at a time and believe everything happens for a reason and in its own timing. My goal is to go as far as the Lord wants me to go.
GCO: What is something people may be surprised to know about you?
BC: Im a world traveler, Before I was 18 I had traveled to at least 12 countries. I love seeing new places and experiencing new things.
