This morning (9.4.17) Lauren Alaina, Dustin Lynch & Brothers Osborne announced the 2017 CMA Awards Nominees. Brothers Osborne announced the New Artist category, which included Alaina, and was followed by a “congrats, Lauren! Congrats!” from Lynch. Lynch announced the Video of the Year, & Alaina announced Vocal Duo of the Year which both included Brothers Osborne. After all nominations were announced Alaina said of her first CMA nomination “I’m really trying not to cry because I feel like I always cry!” After winning Vocal Duo last year, TJ Osborne laughingly said “being the reigning duo winner, I was hoping we would be at least nominated this time, or you would have seen a complete melt down.” Congratulations to all nominees!
